Staff Software Engineer - Databases, Tempo | Sweden | Remote

Requirements:

• Technical leadership with a track record of leading complex initiatives
• Deep systems experience in building and operating distributed data systems
• Strong software craftsmanship with clean, robust, performant code
• Experience with Go or similar systems languages
• Operational mindset with ownership of production services
• Customer focus and pragmatism in problem-solving
• Leadership through writing and collaboration in a remote environment

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with tracing or observability systems
• Designing query languages or APIs for programmatic consumption
• Knowledge of columnar storage formats and analytical workloads
• Operating multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure on Kubernetes
• Building for AI/LLM consumers and contributing to open source
• Experience with on-call responsibilities and fully remote teams

• Lead multi-quarter technical initiatives
