IT Monitoring engineer

Requirements:

• The ability and willingness to work night shifts.
• Experience in administering Linux OS and Linux/Unix applications (e.g. DBMS, web servers) as a system administrator or DevOps.
• The ability to diagnose issues with networks, operating systems, and applications;
• Solid understanding of basic protocols at various levels (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SSL, SNMP, etc.).
• Maintaining documentation and keeping the team informed about recent changes.
• Strong knowledge of at least one monitoring system.
• Hands-on experience in automating daily tasks with shell scripts, Ansible, or any other configuration management system would be a plus. Please provide links to GitHub if available.

What you'll be doing:

• Monitor public and internal IT services round-the-clock.
• Process events in the incident management system in a timely manner.
• Diagnose issues and fix them when possible.
• Develop and maintain the existing monitoring systems, such as Terraform, Ansible, TeamCity, Prometheus, and Kubernetes.
• Perform DevOps tasks for other teams.
