Software Engineer

Requirements

• You can code - Professional or academic experience with C#, C++, Java, or any other OOP language.
• You have good collaboration skills - Strong analytical skills as well as communication skills both verbal and written.
• You’re a professional engineer – you understand that it’s not enough to write code that works; it also must be well-designed, easy to test, and easy to add to over time.
• You want to learn to get things done – Willingness to explore unfamiliar codebases, debug client and service-side applications, and continuously learn.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Understanding of testing principles.
• Troubleshooting skills across network, application, caching, queuing, load-balancing storage, and distributed services layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support impactful features and experiences.
• Collaborate on technical solutions, contributing to the direction of our products.
• Support highly available services used by millions, gaining experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the tech stack, including frontend and database layers.
• Participate in on-call rotations, triaging and responding to issues, and advocating for service health improvements.
• Engage in code reviews and pair programming, contributing to a culture of learning and growth.
