Senior Quantum Software Engineer - Telemetry (Internet-of-Things & Application)

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Physical Sciences, or related field
• Programming and software engineering experience
• Experience in collaborative environments
• Hands-on experience designing telemetry/observability
• Data engineering fundamentals for high-volume data streams
• Experience with IoT or edge-to-cloud systems

Nice to Haves

• Doctorate in related field
• Experience with observability platforms and dashboarding/alerting
• Familiarity with scientific Python stack
• Experience with instrumentation control and lab automation frameworks

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the end-to-end telemetry design for the quantum machine
• Implement robust data acquisition from lab instruments and facility equipment
• Build and operate scalable pipelines for telemetry data
• Partner with teams to translate debugging needs into telemetry features
• Contribute to software engineering best practices in a fast-moving R&D environment
