Data Center Technician

Requirements

• Completed High/Secondary School, GED, an apprenticeship/vocational qualification, or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components
• Ability to work shifts, including non-standard hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice to Haves

• Experience supporting IT equipment or related technology
• Applicable certifications: CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC)

What You'll Be Doing

• Contribute to issue tracking through escalations and seeking guidance
• Participate in daily safety briefings and complete required training
• Complete assigned tickets efficiently and in alignment with KPIs
• Comply with security and data management procedures and policies

• Maintain a strong client focus when completing tickets and assigned tasks
• Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing information and staying apprised of others' work
• Have pride and a sense of accountability for service quality and ownership of data center facilities
• Embody Microsoft's culture and values
• Travel between sites as required, owning a valid driver's license
