Cloud Network Engineer

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in network design, development, and automation within enterprise or production environments.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent practical experience in network design, development, and automation.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with network authentication systems (e.g., TACACS+, Cisco ISE, Duo or similar technologies).
• Industry-recognized network engineering certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE or equivalent).
• Experience working with industrial control systems or operational technology environments.
• Holds a valid driving license that enables travel to and from the worksite, where required for the role.
• Ability to reliably reach the worksite within 60 minutes to meet operational and on-call requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Network Design and Implementation:
  • Perform technical analysis and lead the design architecture of network plans for the enterprise.
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain network or security hardware and operating system and software.
• Maintaining and Operating Networks:
  • Participate in on-call DRI rotation to support Network Infrastructure services.
  • Handle Layer 3 technologies and monitor network system state using tools such as SNMP and Telemetry.
• Supporting People:
  • Collaborate with Information Technology staff and business personnel.
  • Act as a source for direction, training, and guidance for less experienced department staff.

• The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is €62,400.00 - €104,200.00 per year.
