Security Operations Engineer

Requirements

• Experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection, Security Operations Center (SOC) detection, threat analytics, security incident and event management (SIEM), and information technology (IT) operations
• OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field

Nice to Haves

• Experience in people management
• Experience in leading a security function (e.g., Security Operations Center [SOC], threat and vulnerability management [TVM])
• Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team
• CISSP, CISA, CISM, SANS, GCIA, GCIH, OSCP, and/or Security+ certification

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring
• Drive positive collaboration across teams by promoting the open exchange of information, resolving issues within and beyond your immediate team, managing conflict and teamwork challenges, and removing barriers to enable teams to quickly shift priorities without losing productivity
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the deployment of security systems technologies and support high visibility needs of the business on a variety of special projects
• Collaborate with leads across various disciplines to align and drive clarity on broader strategy, initiatives, and priorities
• Develop and assess data to continuously improve and mature the overall program
