CE Field Service Engineer

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent AND relevant industry experience in a data center or critical environment facility
• Relevant experience in a specialised area (e.g., mechanical, electrical, controls) or related field

Nice to Haves

• Experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU)
• Degree OR certification in mechanical or electrical engineering and/or services
• Experience working on large scale CE projects

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems within the data center, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance programmes
• Ensure the uptime and reliability of critical environment systems through proactive monitoring, maintenance oversight, and risk mitigation
• Lead operational excellence by executing and governing key processes, including maintenance procedures, incident reviews (root cause analyses), and change management
• Drive safety and compliance by adhering to Microsoft standards and addressing risks or incidents immediately
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams, vendors, and landlord partners to optimize data center performance and resolve issues
• Identify and reduce risk, minimizing human error and high-impact incidents year over year
• Support emergency-response readiness, acting as an escalation point for facilities-related incidents
• Deliver efficiency outcomes by advancing cost-optimization and energy-efficiency initiatives, and support data-driven operations through accurate measurement and reporting of key metrics, including power, temperature, and SLA performance

Perks and Benefits

The typical base pay range for this role across Finland is €65,000.00 - €111,700.00 per year with certain roles eligible for benefits and other compensation. The position allows for travel between sites, but a valid driver’s license is required.
