Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Nice to Haves

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and technical engineering experience
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with telemetry and observability concepts
• Experience developing RESTful APIs
• Experience shipping large-scale, high-volume services
• Experience designing and developing SDKs in C, C++, C#, or Rust
• Experience working with Open Telemetry
• Experience working with open-source communities and contributing to open-source projects

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop a high-performing SDK leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices
• Understand, analyze, and translate engineering requirements into efficient and scalable SDK functionality
• Support and actively engage with SDK consumers, including the open-source community
• Prove the SDK's value by reimplementing mission-critical services using the latest technologies and frameworks
