Postdoctoral Researcher (Foundational AI: Intelligent Systems)

Requirements

• Contract Length: 2 Years
• Location: Cambridge, UK
• PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Expertise in AI/ML with top-tier publications and/or experience

Nice to Haves

• Record of original research in AI/ML leading venues
• Research evidence in memory, planning, computation, interfaces, verification, or evaluation
• Experience with reproducible benchmarks, security, privacy, or safety for AI agents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting original research in memory, reasoning, control, tools, or multi-agent algorithms
• Evaluating hypotheses using controlled experiments, baselines, and reproducible artifacts
• Contributing to team task environments, evaluation harnesses, and infrastructure
• Investigating reliability, cost, latency, privacy, and human-oversight constraints
• Pursuing independent research program and contributing to team's scientific direction
• Disseminating research through publications, presentations, and engagement
