Backend Engineer - Cards & Digital Wallets

About the opportunity

• Become a vital contributor to our Cards & Wallets Segment within the Everyday Banking Domain.

In this role, you will:

• Design, build, and deploy high-quality software solutions using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Own the full software lifecycle, including production monitoring and performance optimization.
• Contribute actively to technical documentation and product discovery.
• Support team growth by mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews.

What you need to be successful:

• Proven experience in backend engineering with Java or Kotlin and modern microservice patterns.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, preferably Postgres, and cloud-native infrastructure, specifically AWS.
• Demonstrated ability to handle the entire deployment process, including bug fixing and production monitoring.
