Requirements

Must-haves

• Solid Infrastructure/Cloud/DevOps experience
• Application development with Node.js
• CI/CD pipelines
• Observability & performance
• Proficiency with:
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • One or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • TypeScript or JavaScript
• Growth mindset, "don't know but will find out"

Nice-to-haves

• Leadership
• Architecture
• Environment: You've worked in a scrappy startup, small high-trust teams, or have entrepreneurial experience
• Cloud: Azure experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and operate infrastructure powering our cloud platform for high availability, performance, and developer efficiency.
• Push the boundaries on how we scale to millions of users
• Drive observability, monitoring, and alerting, and reduce operational toil through automation and smart tooling.
• Improve the security and observability posture
• Contribute to on-call rotation, helping keep our systems healthy and performant.
• Own and evolve KTLO (keep-the-lights-on) work: tackle reliability, performance bottlenecks, and critical bug fixes.
• Collaborate closely with Cloud team engineers, and sync with product engineers and PMs from other teams to support cross-functional projects; working with other engineering teams, Support, Customer Success, Sales.
• Play a key role in strategic technical decisions, including architecture, tooling, and platform evolution.
