Software Engineer 5 - Finance Technology

Requirements

• Strong track record in developing enterprise application integrations
• Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and QA processes
• Proficiency in building restful APIs for internal and external products
• Experience with XML/XSLT/JSON and various document transfer formats, including EDI and ISO
• Prior or current techno-functional experience with on-premises/SaaS ERP applications will be an added advantage (Oracle/Workday/SAP)
• Working knowledge of Python/Java
• Understanding of hive/iceberg data structures
• Ability to think analytically and effectively, and apply logic to solve problems
• Skills required to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, with a focus on detail and decisiveness
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, functional solution engineers, fellow engineers, and stakeholders on projects
• Clear and concise communication skills to disseminate information about your work, design, and tradeoff decisions, both in writing and verbally
• Demonstrable commitment and achievement skills to exceed expectations and serve multiple partners while delivering an outstanding experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering (including post-launch support) scalable solutions to support our Finance teams globally
• Working closely with internal business stakeholders to understand the use cases and build end-to-end solutions
• Forging strong cross-functional relationships with business partners across various finance and engineering teams to successfully engage, understand, and solve their needs
