Data Analyst (FinCrime)

Requirements

• Knowledge of financial crime concepts/data
• Experience in an analytical role creating impactful solutions
• A background/education in a quantitative discipline
• Great skills with SQL, Python, or another programming language
• Experience in financial services or banking
• Evidence of solid mathematical and statistics knowledge

Nice to Have

• An advanced degree in a core STEM subject
• Experience with additional programming languages, such as Java, Scala, or C++
• To have participated in school/University Olympic medal competitions in physics, maths, economics, or programming
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, or Power BI

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing data reporting requirements for Banque de France and new data reporting for the European Anti-Money Laundering Authority
• Investigating financial crime data analytics from internal projects or requests from authorities
• Defining and implementing key risk indicators and overseeing their maintenance
• Collaborating with MLROs, 1LoD, and 2LoD FinCrime teams, as well as Risk stakeholders
• Leading end-to-end analysis, from conceptualization to visualization and presentation
• Applying an understanding and knowledge of data to help Product and Support teams
• Designing key metrics to measure different aspects of the business
• Creating and maintaining new aggregated views and tables to simplify data querying
• Maintaining and creating dashboards to track metrics and visualize insights
