Research Scientist, Fixed-Term

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or have recently completed a PhD, MSc, or equivalent programme in machine learning, signal processing, or related area.
• Solid hands-on skills in data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
• Creative problem-solving skills and passion for complex problems.
• Experience with modern deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Research experience in speech synthesis, recognition, or audio generation.
• Familiarity with speech and audio ML literature.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting research in speech technology areas.
• Developing and evaluating models using real-world data.
• Collaborating with various teams at Spotify to translate research into product impact.
• Contributing to a long-term research roadmap and focused internship project.
• Opportunity to publish work at conferences.

Where You'll Be

• Based in London or Stockholm.
• Flexibility to work from home with occasional in-person meetings (2 times per week).
