Software Engineer II, iOS

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field
• 3+ years of professional, full-time iOS software engineering experience
• 3+ years of practical experience programming with Swift and/or Objective-C
• Demonstrated experience designing or integrating mobile components with large-scale, distributed backend systems
• Proven capacity to ship features to an app used by X+ million daily active users

Nice to Haves

• Experience or deep familiarity with server-driven UI, web views, or declarative rendering frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to function as an independent owner, driving complex projects to completion with minimal guidance
• Experience working in an A/B testing and experimentation environment to drive data-informed decisions
• Strong capacity for systems thinking, anticipating technical dependencies for platform improvements
• Experience contributing to engineering culture, mentoring junior developers or championing best practices

What You'll Be Doing

• Architecting iOS-side components and core frameworks for integrating web views and server-driven UI solution
• Collaborating with engineers across major business lines to define mobile APIs
• Owning the full development lifecycle from technical design to deployment
• Tackling performance constraints related to app launch, navigation, and runtime
• Contributing to on-call rotations to monitor and resolve production incidents
• Identifying and reducing technical debt for code health and engineering best practices
