Senior Software Engineer I - Account Communications

Requirements:

• You know how to deliver complex product solutions and build distributed systems used by thousands of customers every hour.
• You are proficient in backend programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go and willing to learn and work with Java services.
• You have extensive experience in designing and implementing asynchronous, reliable, and scalable systems in microservices environments.
• You have a strong product mindset and genuine passion for user experience.
• Clean, efficient, and well-tested code is your standard.
• You are comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and apply engineering judgment to everything you ship.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with messaging or event-driven systems.
• Experience working with email delivery infrastructure.
• Experience in API-first development.
• Experience with IaC is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Improving delivery reliability and visibility across all communication channels.
• Evolving platform infrastructure for scale and cost efficiency.
• Building tooling to help teams manage customer communications.
• Adding new capabilities to existing platforms.
