Senior iOS Engineer II

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building and deploying an app that delights customers
• Proficiency in Swift
• Familiarity with software architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, or VIPER
• Desire to write testable code
• Understanding of REST API design
• Strong product mindset and passion for user experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with your team and solve problems independently

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SwiftUI, Structured Concurrency, or CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with internationalization patterns for apps serving many markets
• A fintech background (not required)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work with your team to plan, scope, and build consistent experiences across Wise's native applications and the web
• Collaborate closely with product, design, analytics, and other teams to deliver impactful experiences
• Take responsibility for the overall health and quality of the iOS project
• Collaborate with other iOS and Android engineers to ensure consistency across platforms
• Ensure code is clean, maintainable, and efficient for application performance, load times, and stability
