Senior Software Engineer I - Pricing Core

Requirements

• Strong background in software engineering
• Experience with Java or similar OOP language
• Expertise in designing for long-term iteration and scale
• Ability to make trade-offs for speed, scalability, and risk
• Ownership of system availability, reliability, and security

Nice to Have

• Experience in pricing systems and/or payments, finance domains
• Experience with distributed SQL engines
• Ability to work with big data pipelines and analytical engines
• Familiarity with configuration-heavy domains

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend services
• Building and maintaining event-driven architectures
• Contributing to architectural decisions and ensuring quality
• Resolving performance bottlenecks and technical debt
• Participating in on-call rotations for Tier 1 critical services
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to standards
