Senior Software Engineer II - Engineering Experience

Requirements:

• A senior engineer comfortable working in a polyglot environment with expertise in Java, Go, or TypeScript.
• Strong experience building and operating production software.
• Excellent software design judgement.
• Practical experience using agentic tools.
• Passion for AI developer tooling.
• Experience building internal platforms or tooling.
• Experience leading technical initiatives across teams.
• Strong code review skills and high engineering quality standards.
• Ability to explain technical ideas to various audiences.

What you'll be doing:

• Owning and operating the agentic tooling used by engineers across Wise.
• Building an engineering knowledge base.
• Leading AI enablement across engineering.
• Building and operating products to improve software development.
• Improving the developer portal and shared engineering services.
• Identifying and solving shared problems through software solutions.
