Engineering Lead - Account Management

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering background
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices
• Track record of owning the reliability, scalability, and correctness of critical systems at scale
• Comfortable in a JVM codebase, preferably Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Experience leading a team of engineers and owning what they deliver
• Leadership through trust and clear communication skills
• A product engineer’s mindset focused on customer and business impact
• Bias to action and comfort with ambiguity

Nice to Have

• Experience using AI to build faster
• Previous work experience in fintech, payments, or banking

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the team's engineers, own what they ship, and guide their growth
• Stay hands-on, writing code, reviewing designs, and driving whole features
• Own the team's technical roadmap and make architectural decisions
• Partner with PM and Design, providing feedback on what to build
• Collaborate with other teams on joint projects related to account management
