Senior Software Engineer II - Engineering Experience

Requirements:

• A senior engineer comfortable working in a polyglot environment
• Strong experience building and operating production software
• Excellent software design judgement
• Practical experience using agentic tools
• A genuine passion for AI developer tooling
• Experience building internal platforms or tooling used by other engineers
• Experience leading large technical initiatives across teams
• Strong code review skills
• Confidence explaining technical ideas to varied audiences

What you'll be doing:

• Owning and operating the agentic tooling used by engineers across Wise
• Building an engineering knowledge base exposed through a MCP server
• Leading AI enablement across engineering
• Building and operating products that remove friction across software development
• Improving the developer portal and other shared engineering services
• Using research, feedback, and data to find problems shared by many teams
