Requirements:

Experience designing, building, and deploying backend microservices in Java and Spring Boot.
Familiarity with domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and microservices patterns.
Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs commercially.
Ability to design and maintain relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Enjoy mapping complex technical landscapes and writing clear documentation.
Ability to deliver reliably and manage work independently.
Work well with adjacent teams and understand enterprise customer software needs.

Nice to have:

Experience building enterprise portals, partner platforms, or B2B SaaS products.
Understanding of payments systems and cross-border money movement complexities.
Experience with identity and access management (SAML, SSO, SPIFFE, OAuth2).
Familiarity with Kafka or other event streaming platforms.
Experience in a platform team serving multiple internal or external consumers.
Ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
Interest in international finance, foreign exchange, or payments infrastructure.

Backend microservices for partner-facing features like fraud reporting and case management.
Building permissions and role-based access control systems.
Integrating SSO (SAML 2.0) for enterprise partners.
Developing communication layer services between Wise and partners.
API design for partner-facing endpoints with consistency and documentation focus.
Collaborating with other teams on sanctions workflows and fraud reporting integration.
Technical discovery, production support, and debugging of partner issues.
