Security Engineer, Infrastructure and Cloud

Requirements:

• Have hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and modern microservice architectures
• Quick to form good working relationships with engineers and product management
• Quick to learn nuances in running low-latency, high-availability infrastructure
• Fluent in at least one programming language
• Strong work ethic, organized, and follow through on tasks
• Clear communication and provide visibility on issues
• Ability to see through multi-faceted issues
• Comfortable with submitting and reviewing Pull Requests
• Fluent in spoken and written English

What you'll be doing:

• Identify, prioritize, and implement risk-reducing and engineering-enabling improvements for infrastructure and cloud security
• Solve security-related questions and implement requests related to infrastructure security
• Guide engineering teams on security, privacy, and technical compliance

Nice to haves:

• Experience as a cloud sysadmin, SRE, or DevOps engineer
• At least 5 years of full-time experience in information technology
• Experience with physical security and safety in addition to information security
