Software Development Engineer (TypeScript)

The Opportunity

• The Developer Experience (DevX) team builds and evolves the internal engineering platform
• Enables teams to design, build, test, deploy, and operate services effectively at scale
• Spans developer portals, CI/CD automation, service maturity frameworks, observability standards, and workflow integrations
• Offers broad exposure across technologies and fields

What you'll be doing

• Design and implement internal platform capabilities
• Build automation and integrations across various systems
• Contribute to the evolution of internal developer portal and service maturity frameworks
• Work directly with engineering teams to understand workflow difficulties
• Prototype, refine, and scale tooling based on real-world usage
• Leverage modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development workflows
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and operational excellence

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., TypeScript, Python, or Go)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production-quality systems
• Ability to understand systems end-to-end across application, infrastructure, and developer tooling layers
• Comfort working across different technologies and domains
• Bias toward solving root problems and improving systems at scale
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, frameworks, and domains quickly

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD systems
• Exposure to Kubernetes or cloud-native environments
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, or code quality tooling
• Experience contributing to internal tooling or platform initiatives
