Senior Software Engineer — iCloud Platform Client: Telemetry

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong programming skills in Swift
• Experience building on Apple Platforms (macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, etc.)
• Experience in building system-level frameworks and APIs
• Excellent communication
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent related experience

Nice to Haves

• Experience in Swift concurrency
• Experience with event-based programming or inter-process communication is a plus
• Proven track record of working on rapid development cycles and shipping software on tight schedules

What You'll Be Doing

• Work on the client-side of iCloud services, building secure and private cloud foundations
• Collaborate closely with the CloudKit team, server components teams, and Apple’s Privacy teams
• Utilize skills in C/Objective-C/Swift, libdispatch, POSIX APIs, synchronization protocols, framework design, and more
• Focus on building complex systems that can seamlessly recover in case of errors
