Software Engineering Manager, Batch Compute

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience leading or managing teams across multi-disciplinary domains
• Familiarity with software development processes from architecture to deployment
• Quick learner and contributor to new code bases
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic about upholding Apple's standards
• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead manager
• 5+ years of related software development experience

Nice to Haves

• Experience with network virtualization stacks, container runtimes, and distributed storage systems
• Operational knowledge of Kubernetes clusters
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security best practices
• Experience optimizing performance for large-scale compute platforms
• Effective communication within a team and with stakeholders

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and grow the Dublin team, aligning objectives with teams across regions
• Work on scalability, resilience, security, efficiency, and performance of infrastructure services
• Own and develop software features from concept to production
• Participate in on-call rotation and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with Apple teams to develop infrastructure features
