Software Engineer, Applications, IS&T EMEA GSE

Requirements

• Foundational programming knowledge in one or more modern languages such as Java, Swift, Go, Rust, or C#
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns)
• Familiarity with database concepts (Relational, NoSQL)
• An interest in security and awareness of common security principles

Nice to Haves

• Exposure to DevOps concepts, cloud architectures, or containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker) - through coursework, personal projects, or internships
• Awareness of observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Grafana)
• Hands-on experience with using AI for development and/or building AI-based tools
• Eagerness to build relationships with colleagues across different functions
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to ask questions and share ideas
