Principal Software Developer in Test

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in software industry including design and development of backend/API and UI test automation suites for cloud services
• Experience with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Blazemeter, JMeter, Selenium, Cucumber JVM, Postman, Wiremock, Rest Assured, Pact, BurpSuite
• Knowledge of programming languages like Java, C#, Python, and/or JavaScript
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and strong logical thinking skills

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub
• Familiarity with AWS tools and services
• Interest in new technologies and their adoption
• Experience using AI-powered development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot agent mode, etc.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborating with developers and QA analysts to ensure quality backend services, APIs, and UI applications
• Designing and implementing test automation suites
• Evaluating risk, quality, and stability of software components
• Participating in test estimation and planning
• Writing and running test cases, creating automation scripts
• Participating in Scrum ceremonies and working on CI/CD pipelines
• Mentoring team members and contributing to team improvement
