Principal Software Engineer, Agentic AI

Requirements

• Strong hands-on engineering background in cloud-native, backend-heavy systems
• Proven experience shaping architectural or platform-level decisions beyond a single team
• Experience driving platform adoption across multiple teams
• Deep understanding of agentic AI systems
• Experience designing and evolving APIs and SDKs
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and web security
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

What you'll be doing

• Defining and evolving the technical architecture for Forma's agentic AI platform
• Serving as Forma Design's technical lead into Autodesk's AI platform team
• Enabling every Forma Design squad to ship their own MCPs
• Driving the strategic direction for Forma's participation in the broader AI ecosystem
• Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers
• Mentoring and enabling engineers across the organization
