Requirements

• Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers
• Experience with full software development life cycle
• Experience designing/architecting new and existing systems
• Programming experience with at least one software language
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Nice to Haves

• Experience with full software development life cycle in the last 3 years
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP(S), DNS, TCP/IP)
• Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures
• Experience in a fast-paced, international environment
• Strong English-language communication skills

• Build state of the art incident response systems
• Collaborate with Amazon customers and service teams
• Partner with Amazon organizations to assess DDoS resilience
• Drive improvements in automated detection and mitigation systems
• Advise leadership on enhancing DDoS resilience
• Contribute to hiring and team development
• Participate in on-call rotation
