Software Development Engineer, Lambda - Experience

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in professional, non-internship software development, or experience in development in the last 3 years
• Experience in one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C
• Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, or experience in debugging, profiling, and implementing software engineering best practices in large-scale systems

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying serverless applications using AWS services

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and operate distributed systems for the Lambda control plane
• Own the full path from API request to running function
• Work on asynchronous workflows that orchestrate a function's lifecycle
• Operate at the scale of one of the largest services in AWS
• On-call responsibilities to ensure system reliability
