Senior Design System Engineer

Requirements

• You have worked in a design system team or as a contributor to a design system initiative.
• You have led engineers in complex cross-team projects. Ideally, in a multi-platform setting.
• You have practical experience working with multiple platforms (web + iOS/Android/React Native).
• You are a strong communicator, capable of representing diverse interests.
• You are a systems thinker, comfortable navigating in ambiguity.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the technical vision. Architect platform-agnostic infrastructure like design tokens, Figma plugins and shared utilities. Promote best practices and facilitate technical discussions.
• Align engineering platform teams around shared design system goals and priorities.
• Shape the vision, strategy and roadmap for the design system, representing engineering interests.
• Develop technical metrics for the Design System.
• Advocate for the design system to the engineering organisation.
• Drive continuous improvement, identify opportunities and lead them.
