Data Engineer II - Business Intelligence Platform

Requirements:

• 4–6+ years of experience in data platform engineering, analytics engineering, or BI platform roles.
• Hands-on experience with modern data technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, and semantic layer technologies.
• Strong understanding of semantic modeling, metric layers, data governance, and BI consumption patterns.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming/scripting language (Python preferred).
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and modern data infrastructure.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with BI and analytics platforms such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau, or similar.
• Experience with AI-powered or conversational analytics, LLM/agent concepts, or agentic systems.
• Familiarity with platform integrations through APIs or standards such as MCP.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Own and contribute to the design and implementation of the Semantic Layer foundation.
• Contribute to the development and operation of AI-powered analytics capabilities.
• Build and evolve platform capabilities for AI Analytics.
• Define and enforce data governance standards.
• Design and operate the infrastructure supporting semantic and BI workloads.
