Senior Design Engineer

Requirements

• Strong front-end engineering experience, including React and TypeScript
• Experience with front-end animation and design systems
• Attention to detail in web experience quality, accessibility, and performance

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Next.js, SSR/ISR patterns, or Edge functions
• Understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and user experience

• Building interactive web experiences for buffer.com
• Creating animations and interactions to enhance user experience
• Evolving and maintaining Buffer's design system and component library
• Improving accessibility and performance across buffer.com
• Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders on front-end standards and architecture
