Senior Software Engineer - Quicksilver - Distributed Key Value

Requirements:

• You have previous experience writing robust systems, code quality, performance and technical debt.
• You have proven experience with storage systems, peer to peer systems, large scale distributed systems or general system programming.
• You have experience tracing problems through multiple software stack layers and are flexible and curious.
• You enjoy low-level and high-level programming and are good at giving and receiving constructive criticism.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working with large scale key-value stores like Quicksilver
• Exposure to Go and C programming languages
• Flexible and autonomous with a track record of pragmatic and simple solutions
• Enjoy being part of a challenging team environment

What you'll be doing:

• Work on the distributed large scale key-value store, writing new features in Go and reviewing pull requests
• Improve performance metrics like CPU and memory usage
• Enhance monitoring tools and systems written in Go
• Help with debugging and investigating challenging problems
