Principle Network Engineer

Requirements:

• Deep hands-on experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting complex networks.
• Strong knowledge of WAN, data-center networking, BGP, multicast, and ultra low-latency environments.
• Strong packet-analysis, telemetry, and structured troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of financial market architectures.
• Experience with automation, source-controlled configuration, validation, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of FPGA-connected network paths.
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead investigations into complex performance, latency, resilience, and operational issues.
• Act as a senior technical escalation point for network teams.
• Turn architecture standards into implementation patterns, automation, validation, documentation, and runbooks.
• Lead or support complex changes, migrations, and technical improvement work.
• Evaluate new technologies and improve existing designs and operating practices.
• Implement effective instrumentation and use operational data to identify problems and improvements.
• Mentor engineers and spread knowledge across the function.
