Staff AI Engineer - MCP Services

Requirements:

• Experienced Staff-level engineer in applied AI, agentic programming, or related areas
• Comfortable with high ambiguity and fast-changing environments
• Skilled in building evaluation frameworks for LLM agents or AI systems
• Strong systems thinking abilities

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead efforts to improve Datadog’s MCP server for intelligent agent interaction
• Design and implement agentic tool surfaces for AI agents
• Build and maintain evaluation pipelines for agent performance
• Collaborate with internal teams on tool integration and data access
