Sr Backend Engineer - GraphQL Federation

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience with a focus on GraphQL Federation
• Mastery of Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js
• Experience in system design, microservices, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins/Maven), and cloud-native deployment
• Platform-as-a-Product approach focusing on reliability and scalability

What You'll Be Doing

• Architecting the Supergraph with high-performance federated architectures
• Scaling platform infrastructure and developing core tooling and gateways
• Optimizing performance and driving initiatives for query optimization
• Implementing critical security patterns and observability across the federation layer
• Acting as a domain expert on SOLID principles and guiding technical teams
