iOS Engineer (d/f/m)

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience, with strong knowledge of Swift and the iOS SDK
• Practical experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit, modern iOS architecture, asynchronous programming, and API integration
• Experience writing unit tests, reviewing code, using Git-based workflows, and working with CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to translate product and design requirements into clean, maintainable, and reliable production code
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and ownership skills
• A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of ownership for the quality of the features you deliver

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale or modular iOS applications and frameworks such as The Composable Architecture
• Familiarity with accessibility, experimentation, analytics, observability, feature toggles, or performance optimization
• Experience in ecommerce, marketplace, logistics, shipping, payments, or developer productivity tooling

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable, modular, and reusable features for eBay’s core iOS application
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, Analytics, and other engineering teams to define and deliver customer-facing shipping experiences
• Contribute to application quality by improving performance, stability, accessibility, testing, and maintainability
• Participate in technical discussions, planning, code reviews, release activities, and continuous improvement of team practices
• Investigate and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
