Principal Software Engineer - Relevance in ES|QL - Elasticsearch

Requirements

• Professional experience with search and vector databases, including relevant algorithms and libraries
• Solid skills in core Java and knowledge of data structures, concurrency constructs, and lambdas
• Able to work autonomously, guide projects from start to finish, and collaborate with other engineers
• Experience with data storage technologies and AI acceleration
• Ability to collaborate across teams and transition between different projects based on priorities

Nice to Haves

• Previous experience building with Elasticsearch
• Worked with open source projects and familiarity with source control workflows
• Experience designing, leading, and owning cross-functional initiatives

• Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to enhance search engine offerings
