Principal Software Engineer (Application Networking) - Platform Infrastructure

Requirements

• Experience with building software at Staff or Principal level
• Deep expertise in application networking and cloud-native architecture
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems
• Ability to own projects from beginning to end
• Operational experience with SaaS platforms
• Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development

Nice to Haves

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes networking and major cloud providers
• Contributions to CNCF or other open-source networking projects

What You Will Be Doing

• Set the technical direction for major application networking initiatives
• Lead the development of Ingress, private connectivity, DNS, and security controls
• Lead multi-quarter, cross-organizational projects
• Raise the operational quality of services
• Mentor and support engineers across the team
• Partner with product management and engineering stakeholders
• Identify and champion improvements to security, stability, and cost efficiency
