Software Engineer/UX Designer – Data Platform Engineering - Associate - Stockholm

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and React, and a good understanding of web standards and best practices.
• Proficiency with Figma, including prototyping and working with design systems.
• Strong grounding in design thinking and human-centered design.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Independent thinker, willing to engage, challenge, and learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Object-oriented design and programming skills in Java or a comparable language.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and lakehouse solutions (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Apache Iceberg).

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build and maintain the user-facing tooling of the Lakehouse platform, owning the design process end to end.
• Work closely with users to understand their workflows and shape solutions that fit how they work.
• Partner with stakeholders on design decisions and build on their feedback.
