Data Center Technician III, Third Party Data Centers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems and computer/server hardware or networking protocols.
• Experience with performing component-level repairs on IT equipment.
• Ability to lift/move 50lb (23kg) of equipment and exert yourself physically over extended periods of time.
• Must have the ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays, and on shift-based schedules as required.

Nice to haves

• Experience with server hardware maintenance/repair and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of networking, including basic topology and protocol understanding.
• English fluency for client relationship management.
• Excellent Linux skills in installation, systems administration, and troubleshooting.

What you'll be doing

• Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across projects or functions.
• Report and troubleshoot straightforward issues with equipment or infrastructure.
• Maintain the security and integrity of data.
• Disassemble end-of-life equipment and perform maintenance.
• Repair, fix, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, machines, or infrastructure.
