Data Center Facilities Technician I, Electrical

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with electrical distribution systems.
• Ability to handle material tasks up to 50 lbs, work non-standard hours, and different shifts.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Knowledge of electrical systems used in a data center environment.
• Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate with contractors who work on data center systems.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Assist technicians, read blueprints/schematics, conduct system tours, and assess working order.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and control systems.
• Operate, monitor, maintain data center facilities systems and equipment, respond to abnormal conditions.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new electrical equipment and systems into facilities infrastructure.
