Senior Software Engineer, Agent Building, Google Cloud

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience building and shipping production-grade AI-driven solutions using Python, Typescript, or comparable languages
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with stakeholders to define AI and hardware infrastructure requirements
• Experience designing and building AI systems on cloud platforms
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data

Nice to haves:

• Master’s degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with multi-agent systems frameworks and patterns
• Knowledge of large language model performance metrics

What you'll be doing:

• Serve as lead developer for AI applications
• Architect and code connective tissue between Google's AI products and customer infrastructure
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks
• Identify repeatable field patterns and technical friction points
• Drive engineering excellence through mentoring and cross-functional influence
