Data Center Electrical Technician II (Elektro Technicus/Technicus Elektro)(Dutch)

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of Electrical experience (e.g., electrical testing equipment or electrical distribution) in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment, and the use of safety equipment like safety harnesses.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations/shifts.
• Ability to communicate in Dutch.

Nice to haves:

• 2 years of experience in maintenance of electrical distribution systems or construction/technical environment.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Knowledge of electrical systems used in a data center environment.
• Ability to communicate with contractors on maintenance or upgrade work.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians as you assess system working order.
• Manage the uptime and maintenance of UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and control systems.
• Support integration of new electrical equipment into facilities infrastructure.
• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal conditions in data center facilities systems.
