Data Center Engineer, Electrical Engineering

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure.

Nice to haves:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or other relevant field, or a professional engineering license.
• Experience in estimating, electrical design, operation, and commissioning of various electrical systems.
• Experience with medium voltage systems.
• Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of high voltage substations, medium or low voltage electrical distribution systems, AC/DC systems, and associated power management or SCADA tools.
• Experience with cross-discipline teams (structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, architectural).
• Experience working with data center equipment and environments.

What you'll be doing:

• Define data center system-level, product architecture, and Research and Development.
• Participate in the selection and onboarding of new contractors and vendors.
• Contribute to health, safety, and environmental plans related to the electrical engineering scope.
• Provide technical leadership to projects, support project design, scope, schedule, quality, commissioning, and safety for electrical discipline.
