Data Center Facilities Technician, Controls

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in controls/automation in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment, use of safety equipment, and work non-standard hours.

Nice to haves:

• Industry standard certifications related to system administration.
• 2 years of experience in controls/automation or construction/technical environment.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, power plants, or laboratories.
• Proficiency in scripting language.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians, read blueprints, and assess system working order.
• Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in data center facilities systems.
