Senior Staff Software Engineer, Home and Health

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on backend architecture, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
• Experience operating as a technical leader, overseeing multiple parallel projects, and setting the technical direction for multiple teams.

Nice to haves:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction with 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or Large Language Model (LLM) interfaces into workflows.
• Experience managing complex authentication systems, token handling, and legacy user migrations.
• Deep domain expertise in health data systems, data reconciliation, and wearable device integrations.
• Strong background in developing and optimizing automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and developer productivity tools.
